Play, Play, Play

We finally had warm enough weather the other day that we got to go to the park! Lila loved the slides! We even ran into some of our friends at the park. Lila had fun playing with Hannah, Sally, Josie, and Kate. They kept each other really busy. Unfortunately the next day the temperature was back down to 26 degrees. Yuck! I can't wait for it to stay warm! We're getting so stir crazy being stuck inside.

We did find out that a local hospital coordinates a play group for 12-24 month olds. We were very excited to go to our first "Play Pals" group tonight. Lila was a total ham for the group and insisted on dancing in the middle of the group during our circle time sing along. I was starting to worry that she has been acting rather shy, but I guess I don't have a lot to worry about. She really seemed to enjoy all of the equipment and activities, but I think she was honestly most fascinated by one of the little girls velcro shoes. She kept following her around trying to undo her shoes. I guess it really is the small things that bring the greatest joy!
