Our Busy Week

We've had a very busy week! We celebrated Lila's birthday with family on Sunday. Lila had a great time showing off for everyone and opening her presents. She wasn't so impressed with the whole cake thing. Her actual birthday on Monday was a little more low key. We went swimming and let her run loose in the aerobics room at our gym. We had a great time, and the positive side effect was that she actually slept most of the night! It is so hard to believe that our little girl is a year old now. She's starting to seem so grown up. I love it and hate it at the same time. Unfortunately, Tuesday night I came down with the flu. I spent most of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in bed. Lila seemed to have a great first Christmas at home though. I hate that I missed so much of it, but I'm starting to feel a lot better. We're just keeping our fingers crossed that Lila doesn't get sick.
