The Hanoi Paparazzi

Lila's going to miss all of the fame when we get home. It's so funny, we can't go anywhere without gathering a small crowd. Yesterday we went for a walk and were stopped several times so that people could touch Lila and talk to her. Anyone that has a young child stops us and wants us to let their child touch Lila for luck. On the same walk two people stopped to pick Lila's crusty nose (gross), and one lady had us stop so she could take our picture on her phone.

Lila seems to be doing much better. She is amazing. She absolutely loves bath time and is starting to stop fighting sleep so much. She goes down (sometimes without screaming now) at about 7:30 or 8:00. She wakes up usually twice during the night usually for at least an hour or so. She gets up at about 6:30 in the morning. She is so much happier during the day now too. She is so much fun and always on the move. She doesn't sit still...ever. Lila's new favorite game is peek-a-boo. One of the families that we were spending time with, the Hines, left yesterday. They left us their supply of Cheerios and baby food (squash and pears). Lila loves them!

We can navigate around fairly well. We have found a couple of restaurants that we like within walking distance, and their is a small grocery store about a block away. We ate at KFC yesterday, it was great! I was also very pleased to find ketchup at a grocery store last night! They have the best french fries in Vietnam, but ketchup is not common. We are starting to get used to being here, but I hope to be home really soon. We miss everyone.

It's great hearing from you, sounds like things are getting better. We are so glad everyone loves Lila, but I don't think the attention will die down any when she gets home! Love you all!
